Spiritual teachings recognize that the time before birth is crucial for the unborn child. Thus they advise that a pregnant mother watch her thoughts, emotions, food, behavior, and lifestyle for the sake of her unborn child.
Many children in Japan are born with pre-birth memories supporting our findings presented in our books, Cosmic Cradle, Spiritual Dimensions of Life before Birth and Babies Are Cosmic, Signs of Their Secret Intelligence.
A 6-year-old Japanese boy recalls: “I was flying in the sky, looking for my mother. Looking down. I could see my mother and chose her. I thought she was the best person. She looked lonely, and I thought, ‘If I come to her, she will not feel lonely anymore.’”
A 9-year old Japanese girl describes the place where she was before she came to her mother: “There were many children, or souls, and a god, an entity with authority.”
Aimee relates: “When my son Casper was about 3, he matter-of-factly told me: ‘Before I came here, I was up in Space, where Evelyn lives. Evelyn, you know her, Mama, and we know you.’
When he spoke my grandmother Evelyn’s name, I gasped. It gave me goose bumps. With tears in my eyes, I scribbled it all down, furiously writing as my son spoke. He said that he chose me and asked Grandmother Evelyn a couple of times if he could go to Earth. She kept saying, ‘It isn’t the right time yet.’ My grandmother passed in 1992—17 years before his birth.
“I love all of my four children. I believe they all asked to be with me. It was all meant to be. But my son Ivan was the one that I didn’t want.
“When I got pregnant with Ivan, I was so angry. I wanted to get an abortion. It’s terrible to say, but I was going through a very difficult, chaotic time with my two older girls. I was not happy.

“I recorded the dream in a journal because it was the most amazing and soul lifting experience I’ve ever had. My entire soul had been so energized by the dream that I was on high for days afterwards! I don’t think it had been a dream, so much, as my own soul traveling to visit his.
Kathy recalls Life before Birth:
“As I floated there, I looked down at this stunning planet, a beautiful gem in the universe. The brightness of the blue against that inky blackness of space was incredible.
“Even with similar planets in the universe, Earth was a prime piece of real estate. I wanted to take the planet into my arms and take care of all humanity. I also wanted to protect it because it seemed so fragile.”
Our materialistic society has trained us to treat “babies” as subhuman creatures not yet equipped with a sufficiently developed brain and the ability to remember!
Much of this thinking goes back to Sigmund Freud (1856-1939), Father of Psychoanalysis, who theorized that a child was not mature enough to feel or experience meaningfully until the second or third year of life.
Freud considered any birth memory that came up in analysis to be merely a fantasy constructed by the mind.
INTRODUCTION
As a child I never mentioned it and, with the benefit of hindsight, I am glad I did not. Maybe I knew, deep inside me, that I should not relinquish my ‘secret’ because as a child I could not have coped with the response I am getting now.
