My Soul Hovered at Heaven’s Door
Did your child speak to you before he was born? It’s not as uncommon as it might seem!
Emily shares her pre-communication dream when she was 4 months pregnant with her youngest baby:
“I recorded the dream in a journal because it was the most amazing and soul lifting experience I’ve ever had. My entire soul had been so energized by the dream that I was on high for days afterwards! I don’t think it had been a dream, so much, as my own soul traveling to visit his.
“Here is my dream. Reading it still gives me chills and warms my soul.”
The Dream:
I turned and entered an alley/road that was all done in beautiful glimmering cobblestone. There were buildings lining both sides all done of stone with gorgeous detail. In the center there were stone formations, fountains, and statues all beautifully detailed.
Far in the distance one building stood taller than the rest, was shining and almost inexplainable.
The top curved into this huge peak with a tall golden rod that stood off the top. The front of the building was built open and trimmed in gold with scrolling design coming straight down each side in pretty rolling waves.
I instantly started trotting, then running towards that building. I knew who I was looking for.
As I approached, I saw a huge winding stairway inside, decorated with the same gorgeous detail…the railing trimmed in gold. Off each level were halls and doors, mostly closed.
I climbed the stairs until something told me to stop. I stepped off into a hall and there were several closed doors. I approached one door and my heart was pounding with excitement.
I opened it and stepped into a little foyer. There was one full door on the right, and a swinging style door on the left. The full door suddenly opened and a man stepped out and passed by me like a ghost.
Inside, I saw a young adult sitting. He was the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen. He had a full head of dark hair, dark shining eyes. When he gazed into my eyes, his face lit up in a huge, beautiful smile and his eyes sparkled.
My heart about exploded and melted all at the same time. I felt completely electrified. Then the door shut quickly and he was gone.
My heart sank and I wanted so badly to see him, but I couldn’t open the door.
Suddenly something caught my eye off to my left: a glimpse of movement under the swinging door. I went to see what it was. It was a room with several swinging doors. I kept catching movement under them, one at a time and hearing giggling.
I wandered in and out of each door following the movements until I suddenly caught sight of a little boy with bleached blonde hair and bright blue eyes.
He had a mischievous little smile and kept giggling and playing peek-a-boo from behind the door.
Finally he peeked around the door and said, “Do you know who ‘that’ was?” I just looked at him. He explained, “The one you came looking for. Do you know his name?”
I shook my head, “No.”
He said, “That’s David Mitchell. You’re waiting for him.”
I nodded my head, “Yes.”
He put his finger to his lips, smiled, and said, “It’s ok. It’s not time yet, but soon.” Then the little blonde boy vanished.
The dream disappeared. I woke up with my heart pounding in my chest, exploding with excitement.
I knew it was my baby I had seen in that room. He came to tell me who he was meant to be. So this little one who is now in my belly, if this dream is what I believe it is, is my son, David Mitchell.
“There is no doubt that it was indeed our little man in my dream. From the moment my son was born, just uttering his name, David, would have him turning to look straight at you.
He was always David, and he’s always known he was David. We believe he has a dedicated purpose in coming to us.
His three-year-old older brother, Matheu, is autistic.
From day one, David has shown us through his gestures and natural demeanor that he has come as Matheu’s guide and protector.
Whenever Matheu is upset and having a meltdown, David simply reaches over to him, places a gentle hand on his arm, and stares into his eyes.
Or David reaches out and pats Matheu’s head and rubs his hair. David follows Matheu everywhere, never losing sight of him, no matter what is going on.
